NorthStar's free worthless check program can operate in one of two ways, and in both cases NorthStar absorbs all the collection costs.  You may choose to outsource bad check collection directly to NorthStar (i.e. your office puts businesses in touch with NorthStar, but you still receive part of your state bad check fees).  You may also choose to outsource all bad check recovery to NorthStar except in cases where diversion efforts are necessary (i.e. your office exercises its right to prosecute bad check writers who resist the collection efforts).
