The Greek word akratos

Found just once in the New Testament (Rev. 14:10), the Greek adjective “akratos” described something that was “without mixture.” John said those who “worshipped the beast” (Rev. 14:9) would “drink of the unmixed wine” of “God’s wrath.”

The adjective “akratos” as well as Rev. 14:9-10 tells us false worship is a very serious matter!
