The Greek adverb adialeiptos

Used just four times in the New Testament (Rom. 1:9; 1 Thess. 1:3; 2:13; 5:17), the Greek adverb “adialeiptos” meant “unceasingly.” Paul used this word in Rom. 1:9 to describe his “unceasing” prayers for fellow Christians.

This term describes continual remembrance in 1 Thess. 1:3, continual thanksgiving in 1 Thess. 2:13, and continual prayer in 1 Thess. 5:17.
