The Greek noun “architekton”

Found just once in the New Testament (1 Cor. 3:10), the Greek noun “architekton” meant “master builder” or “architect.”

As discussed in this author’s commentary on 1 Cor. 3:10-11, this term tells us “Paul thought of himself as a director of works, an architect, an engineer, and a foreman.”  This noun also implies Paul knew what was needed to get a congregation started and growing in places where the gospel had never gone (Rom. 15:20).
