The Greek word “aurion”

Found mainly in the books of Matthew, Luke and Acts, but also found in 1 Cor. 15:32; Jas.4:13-14, the Greek adverb “aurion” meant “tomorrow,” “soon,” or “the dawning of a new day.”

Matthew associated this word with Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount (Mt. 6:30, 34) and Luke used this adverb in Lk. 10:35; 12:28; 13:32-33. Luke also used this term in Acts 4:3, 5; 23:15, 20; 25:22.
