The Greek word “diermeneuo”

Limited to Lk. 24:27; Acts 9:36; 1 Cor. 12:30; 14:5, 13, 27, the Greek verb “diermeneuo” meant “translate,” “explain,” “interpret.”  Aside from Lk. 24:27 and Acts 9:36 this word is always associated with the “translation” or “interpretation” of tongue speaking.
