The Greek word “gamisko”

Found just twice in the New Testament (Mk. 12:25; Lk. 20:34) and equivalent to the verb “gamizo,” the Greek verb “gamisko” meant “give in marriage.”

Marriage is a divine institution (Gen. 2:22-25) and it does not last beyond this life. Paul said death severs the marital bond (Rom. 7:1-3), and Jesus said marriage will not exist in heaven (Mk. 12:25).
